Python Developer

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Python Developer to join our dynamic development team. The
ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Python programming, experience with web
frameworks, and a passion for developing high-quality software solutions. You will work on
various projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust applications.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS
Develop, test, and maintain scalable and efficient Python applications.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
Experience with databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
Collaborate with DBAs and others to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Assist in the design and implementation of APIs and microservices.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance skills and
knowledge.
Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications.
2-4 years of professional experience in Python development.
Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React,
Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus.
Familiarity with database systems (SQL and noSQL) and ORM libraries.
Familiarity with implementing in Linux/Unix operating systems.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
EDUCATION
Bachelors degree or masters in computer science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a
relevant field
