Python Automation Engineer

Roles & Responsibility :
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using Python in a Linux environment for ACE project Execute existing scripts in command-line utilities in Linux, debug/validate and report result Perform Manual validation of result for accuracy in edge cases Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements, participate in design reviews, and propose automated test systems that leverage Python for enhanced testing.
Implement, track, and manage testing for functionality, performance, and security across various Linux platforms.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Identify, document, and track bugs, as well as perform thorough regression testing.
Enhance and maintain CI/CD/CT pipelines with a focus on automating testing processes.
Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
Investigate test failures, report bugs, and work with the team to resolve issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong experience with Python programming specifically in a Linux environment.
Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
Proficient in scripting and command-line utilities in Linux.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
