SOC Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:
1. Security Monitoring & Incident Response:
Perform continuous monitoring of EDR and firewall systems to identify and respond to
security incidents.
Analyze security alerts and investigate potential threats to determine the scope and impact.
Escalate critical incidents to appropriate teams and stakeholders as necessary.
Coordinate with relevant teams to remediate identified threats promptly and effectively.
2. Risk & Vulnerability Management:
Identify, analyze, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities within the organizations
network and systems.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce exposure to cyber threats.
3. Incident Documentation & Reporting:
Document findings from incident investigations with detailed reports for internal use and
future reference.
Maintain logs and records of incidents to inform continuous improvement efforts.
4. Customized Cybersecurity Advisories:
Create and distribute tailored cybersecurity advisories that align with the organizations
environment, inventory, and asset configurations.
Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends to provide
relevant recommendations.
5. Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with IT, engineering, and cross-functional teams to strengthen the organizations overall security posture.
Communicate effectively with leadership regarding security incidents, their impacts, and
remediation efforts.
6. Continuous Learning & Adaptation:
Keep up to date with emerging cybersecurity technologies, threats, and best practices to
enhance response capabilities and inform advisory content.
