We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager - Accounts, Tax, and Compliance to oversee financial accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, tax laws, and financial reporting standards while optimizing financial efficiency.Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting :
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including daily book keeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Maintain internal controls and compliance with accounting standards.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and financial audits.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Supervise the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Taxation :
Ensure timely and accurate filing of direct and indirect tax returns, including GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory obligations.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and implement necessary changes in the organization s processes.
Manage tax assessments, audits, and liaise with tax authorities.
Provide tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities and ensure tax efficiency.
Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:
Ensure compliance with all financial, corporate, and legal regulations, including Companies Act, FEMA, SOFTEX, and other applicable laws
Maintain statutory records and ensure timely filings with government authorities.
Oversee compliance-related documentation, including licenses, permits, and agreements.
Conduct internal and external audits to identify and mitigate financial and compliance risks.
Collaborate with legal teams and consultants to address regulatory requirements.
Team Management & Coordination:
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.
Collaborate with external consultants, auditors, and government authorities as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: CA or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books), Google Sheets, Analytics.
Knowledge of Laws: Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, corporate compliance, and auditing practices.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Leadership: Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
