Job Description Summary Looking for the Supply Chain professional having 6-12 years of experience in handling Domestic and Global Procurement. Person should have hands on exposure to Oracle system, ASCP driven Material planning, Risk ordering, Inventory management to manage the Electrical commodity ensuring on time material availability as per customer demand and Inventory target in mind.
Being critical Electrical commodity, this role is very key for overall business growth and demands the cross functional engagement with other key stakeholders like Customs, Logistics, Warehouse, Operations and Engineering teams.
The person will be located in Pune.
The role has some autonomy in taking the decision about Ordering strategy, Material planning, Inventory management, but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• 100% responsible for Material fulfillment for assigned Electrical Commodity with overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling targeting 2-week inventory levels, at a minimum.
• Be responsible for raw material scheduling, procurement follow up and expediting.
• Responsible for driving the strategic initiatives for Inventory Management for D C Business.
• Responsible for Risk Ordering of 2.4 M$ for the Electrical parts which are having higher lead time and review the same monthly basis for demand fluctuations.
• Analyze and track Supplier promise date accuracy and develop reports to ensure Supplier promise date accuracy
• Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements.
• Manage Phase In / Phase Out (NPI) to minimize obsolete material.
• Partner closely with suppliers focusing on: Packaging needs, min/max planning. PCNs, as they relate to old/existing parts, materials replenishment planning
• Work with Sourcing Commodity Leaders to execute on Supplier fulfillment plan.
• Coordinate Engineering Change Orders with Advanced Manufacturing and define cut in dates5. Analyze and track Supplier promise date accuracy and develop reports to ensure Supplier promise date accuracy
• To Ensure 100% line fullfilment and supported plenty short cycle orders- for assigned material group/Commodity with overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling targeting 2-week inventory levels, at a minimum.
• Coordination with Suppliers for ASN adherence which help for execution of digitization
• PO placement and Supplier Coordination for timely material receipt.
• Co-ordination for on-time payment, resolve priority issues in goods receipt, supplier payment
• Engaging solving suppliers payment related queries
• Co-ordinating customs team for proper filing of BoE to avoid issues later.
• Checking HSN code availbility for all new parts and communicating to MES team for HS code availbility
• Co-ordinating with MLL team for urgent parts End to End transactions.
• Engaging solving IT related queries.
• Communicate and resolve issues with GE Logistics , Custom COE

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university or college with 6-12 years of experience in relevant industry fulfilment/planning function and material
• Relevant experience of 6-12 years in material fulfilment/buying/procurement, supply chain management
• Automobile, Mfg Industries,Aviation Industry, Electrical
