GCI is looking for a seasoned Marketing Manager to join our India team and help grow our business. This position will play a key role in developing strategic marketing plans and oversee the implementation, execution and management of the various efforts associated with the marketing plan. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who combines strategic and analytical thinking with seamless execution and a strong drive for success. Knowledge, planning, implementing and tracking Digital Marketing campaigns is required. This role will entail periodic communication with our USA and Canada teams. Strong oral and written skills in English is required .
Responsibility
Develop and implement strategic marketing programs from initial concept to execution to support and grow our brand
Develop strategies based on website performance and modify web pages to drive traffic and improve search engine rankings (SEO and Google Analytics)
Identify and learn competitors and desired target audiences alike to optimize in-
person, social media and website efforts
Write, prepare and send out press releases to appropriate media outlets
Create and maintain database regarding market size, profile, trends, drivers, regulatory impacts, standards, prices, competitor actions, commercial practices, new product introductions, etc.
Perform market research to establish our current state position and identify the needs with regards to our products, quality, customer service, etc. and identify areas for improvement
Develop and implement sales support tools including technical presentations and animations of equipment. Give customer presentation as required to support opportunity strategy.
Determine how we can use web-based applications to improve communication and efficiency internally and with customers.
Requirements:
BS in Marketing, Communications, Art or related field. Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Marketing
5 years of experience in diverse Marketing roles, previous experience in concrete pipe and iron casting industry is a plus
Proven experience with Google Analytics and SEO data
Demonstrated ability to create websites, effectively use graphics, and produce engaging web page layouts
Understanding/Experience with basic tools and techniques for effective marketing research.
