Senior Accountant (Inter CA)-Mumbai BASED Candidates ONLY

Role & responsibilities

1. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

3. Oversee and manage the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes.

4. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances and providing insights to support decision-making.

5. Manage tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensuring adherence to tax regulations.

6. Coordinate with external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

7. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

8. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

9. Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and Profit & Loss (P&L) reports.

10. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Inter CA or equivalent qualification.

2. Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting.

3. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.

4. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
