- As an SEO Content Writer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality written content that is optimised for search engines and designed to drive organic traffic to our website
Responsibilities :
- Research and understand our target audience, industry trends, and relevant keywords to inform content creation.
- Produce we'll-written, informative, and engaging content that aligns with our brand voice and style guidelines.
- Optimise content for search engines, including incorporating target keywords naturally and strategically throughout the copy.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to develop content strategies that support our overarching SEO goals.
- Conduct on-page optimization tasks such as meta tag creation, internal linking, and content formatting to improve search visibility.
- Stay up-to-date with SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends to ensure our content remains competitive.
- Analyse content performance metrics and use data-driven insights to refine and improve future content strategies.
- Work closely with other teams, including marketing, design, and product, to ensure content is aligned with broader business objectives.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a content writer, preferably with a focus on SEO.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Understanding of on-page SEO best practices, including keyword research, meta tags, and content optimization
- Ability to conduct thorough research on various topics and industries.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and techniques in a fast-paced environment. bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
