gate6 is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Front End Lead to drive the development of intuitive, high-performance, and scalable web applications.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in modern front-end technologies, a strong UI/UX focus, and leadership capabilities to guide a team of developers.

- 8+ years overall experience with HTML, JavaScript frameworks, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, and CSS.

- Lead, mentor and groom a team of front-end developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with back-end services.

- Experience in building Frontend for responsive web applications and cross-browser compatible systems.

- Determine the functional, and non-functional requirements and scope of working with the business analysts and engineering managers.

- Design and develop multi-tier, cloud-native, high-performance, and scalable solutions.

- Apply software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices to build solutions that are testable, secure, and robust.

- Lead cross-functional agile teams across the software development lifecycle.

- Evaluate design alternatives using proof of concepts and collaborate with architects to choose optimal solutions.

- Performing design and code reviews.

- Collaborate with project/program managers to estimate, plan, and mitigate technical risks at the module/project level.

- Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

- Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality applications.

- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Job Requirement :

- Excellent spoken, and written communication and presentation skills using English as a medium.

- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development.

- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in leading and managing software development teams, with a proven track record of overseeing teams of at least 5-6 members.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Relevant hands-on experience with one or more of the following :

- Web technologies JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.

- Web frameworks - Angular / React JS.

- Mobile frameworks - React Native.

- Web server technologies Node.js / Nginx.

- Cloud environments AWS / Azure / GCP (Good to have).

- Good understanding of working with APIs.

- Software Knowledge: Sublime, Visual Studio, WebStorm, Eclipse, GIT, SourceTree, TortoiseSVN, Fiddler, Charles, James, Adobe Photoshop.
