Responsibilities
Portfolio Growth

• Prospect the markets under his responsibilities.

• Manage the develop a client portfolio in various industrial sector such as steel industry, cement plants, port facilities, heavy industries, handling machine manufacturers, less tramways, automated warehouses .

• Maintain and develop regular contacts with existing and potential clients in order to meet the commercial targets

Offers

• Analyse the client needs and purpose technical solutions that meet the client s requirements, in collaboration with the project managers and if needed, the technical department.

• Draft the commercial offers while monitoring and controlling the profitability of the commercial affairs.

Contact and knowledge

• Maintain and develop regular contacts with engineering firms, supervise construction work and customer service

• Develop his technical skills and knowledge

• Keep contacts with key players on the market to be aware of potential markets opportunities and solutions

Depending on the company s priorities, the job holder may be assigned other tasks within his skills and competences and for which he will be trained by a third party if needed.

Competences

Technical knowledge: Engineering background (mechanics)

Language: Excellent knowledge of English (both written spoken). Other language being an asset

IT: Knowledge of MS Office suite is a must (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.). Knowledge of MS Projects is a plus

Behaviour: Negotiation and communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills, dynamic and proactive

Profile
Education

: Engineering Degree in mechanical or civil/structural engineering

Experience

: Minimum 10-12 years experience of direct sales experience in crane related products, marketed to the heavy industrial sector such as primary metals, ports and automotive industries. Shipyard Marine Industry Experience is mandatory.
