Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing (8-10 yrs)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with automation tools like Playwright (JavaScript) and Selenium, as well as a strong foundation in manual testing and API testing.

This role involves working in a collaborative and agile environment, ensuring that our web applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Design and Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain test cases and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.

- Create, implement, and manage automated test frameworks for web applications using Selenium WebDriver and Playwright with JavaScript.

Manual Testing :

- Perform comprehensive manual testing, including functional, exploratory, usability, and regression testing.

- Design detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements and user stories.

API Testing :

- Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman to validate backend functionality and integrations.

- Automate API test cases where possible to streamline the testing process.

Automation Testing :

- Develop and execute automated tests using tools like Playwright (JavaScript) and Selenium.

- Utilize automation frameworks such as NUnit and tools like Visual Studio and Eclipse to ensure robust test coverage.

- Configure and maintain automation test environments that closely mimic production.

Performance Testing :

- Leverage tools like JMeter to assess application performance under load.

- Identify bottlenecks and provide actionable insights for optimization.

Agile Collaboration :

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to ensure test coverage.

Reporting and Documentation :

- Generate comprehensive test reports and summaries for stakeholders.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation on test cases, test scripts, and test environments.

Client Interaction :

- Engage effectively with clients to understand requirements, address concerns, and provide updates on testing progress.

Mandatory Skills :

- Automation Tools : Proficiency in Playwright using JavaScript and Selenium WebDriver.

- API Testing : Hands-on experience with API testing using tools like Postman.

- Test Frameworks : Expertise in frameworks like NUnit for automation testing.

- Version Control : Proficiency in using Git and GitHub for version control.
