Job Description

Led, mentor, and managed a team of ecommerce professionals.
Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and professional development activities.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

E-commerce Strategy & Planning:

Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns.

Website & Platform Management:

Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the e-commerce website, ensuring it is user-friendly, secure, and up-to-date.
Coordinate with IT and web development teams to implement new features and resolve technical issues.
Ensure product listings are accurate, visually appealing, and optimized for search engines.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Analyze website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to identify trends and insights.
Prepare regular reports on ecommerce performance, including sales metrics, conversion rates, and ROI.
Use data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.

Customer Experience:

Ensure a seamless and positive shopping experience for customers, from browsing to checkout to post-purchase support.
Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, reduce cart abandonment, and increase repeat purchases.
Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Vendor & Partner Management:

Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners, including payment gateways, logistics providers, and marketing agencies.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and cost efficiency.

Compliance & Security:

Ensure all ecommerce activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect customer data and prevent fraud.

Skills:

Proven experience in e-commerce management, preferably in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Big Commerce) and digital marketing tools.
Excellent analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel).
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising.
Familiarity with UX/UI principles and web development processes.
Experience in B2B or B2C ecommerce environments.
Certification in digital marketing or e-commerce.
Proven expertise in React.js, Node.js, and Vue.js, along with proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Headless framework and Cloud Server knowledge will be an added advantage.
