Position overview:

Industry reports are a key part of Gain.pro's global offering and plays a critical role in establishing Gain.pro as an industry thought leader. We are currently tracking >200 industries and 750 subsegments.

As the industry research Associate, you will play an instrumental role in deepening our industry report coverage for the United States and globally.

What does the role entail?

- As an industry research Associate, you will play an active role in scaling up our industry reports coverage across different industries and subsectors

- You will be responsible for researching and writing extensive reports on various industries, analyzing market trends and providing in-depth insights to our clients

Your role will entail:

- Research: you conduct extensive research on various industries, including key trends, market landscape, outlook and regulatory environments

- Expert interviews: you gather proprietary insights through C-level expert interviews

- Writing: you write high-quality, well-structured and engaging reports that provide deep and relevant insights to clients

- Strategic initiatives: you continuously identify and own improvement initiatives for our industry research offering

- Project management: you collaborate and work with multiple team members to ensure the execution of different work streams related to the deep dive reports

- Technology: you identify and drive technical initiatives to automate our workflow

What do you need to join us?

- 5+ years of experience; latest in a mid-level role for a shared services/competence centre for Strategy Consultant, Global IBD or Big 4 based in India. Previous experience and affinity with the PE & VC market is a plus

- You have previous experience in writing industry reports for the financial/professional services industry and have a strong interest in this area

- Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail and analytical abilities to interpret data and identify key themes and issues

- A well-structured and efficient way of working to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work

- Hands-on mindset - you enjoy owning deliverables

- A positive, decisive and empathic management style
