Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior SQL Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of SQL and database concepts, with a proven track record in database testing. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with expertise in testing tools, frameworks, and Agile methodologies, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Duties to be performed

• Validate the integrity of databases by performing various types of testing, such as functional testing, regression testing, and system testing.
• Create, execute, and validate complex SQL queries to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
• Design detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts tailored to SQL and database testing scenarios.
• Execute test cases and log defects accurately in the defect management system. Verify the integrity and accuracy of data after migrations, integrations, or updates.
• Work closely with developers, data engineers, and analysts to understand requirements and data flows.
• Prepare detailed reports on testing progress, issues, and outcomes Work with defect management and test management tools like JIRA, ADO, TestRail
