Job Description

• Design, develop, and validate hardware circuits and components for safety-critical railway systems.

• Create detailed schematics, layouts, and PCB designs using CAD tools.

• Select and evaluate electronic components to meet design specifications

• Responsible for Firmware development of for Real time safety critical SIL4 based systems/ low-power battery- powered and high-power Automotive systems/ Defence Systems

• Experience in processors like ARM Cortex, Hercules Serie, Keil, MDK

• Analyze and mitigate potential hardware failures using FMEA and fault-tree analysis.

• Familiar working in Labview

• Perform testing, troubleshooting, validation (at board and system level).

• Devise well-rounded test plans to validate the product robustness.

• Create, develop, and evaluate technical documentation for the existing and new projects.

• Track progress and action items for ongoing design projects.

• Assist in troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis for product enhancement

• Collaborate with cross functional team like Software, mechanical, electrical, UI and testing achieve common goals

• Work closely with Client and cross-functional teams and ensure to meet the project deadlines

• Involve in all aspects of development cycle for systems in accordance with EN50126/50128/EN50129/EN50159

• Documentation of design specifications and implementation details.

• Lead design reviews.

• Responsibility for the complete implementation of detailed technical items and an understanding/appreciation of system level items.

• Investigate emerging technologies for potential applications in railway safety systems.

• Proficiency in hardware design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, Mentor Graphics).

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in hardware designs.
