Assistant Manager-Payroll

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage the payroll function efficiently. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in payroll processing, compliance, and team management. They should possess strong knowledge of payroll processes, statutory regulations, and HRMS software while ensuring accuracy and timely payroll execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Supervise and lead the payroll team, providing guidance and support.
• Ensure timely processing of salaries, tax deductions, PF, ESIC, gratuity, and other payroll-related components.
• Handle payroll reconciliations, audits, and reporting to ensure compliance.
• Address employee queries related to payroll, taxation, and benefits.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams for smooth payroll operations.
• Stay updated with the latest labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Improve payroll processes and implement best practices for efficiency.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and employment regulations and ensure the payroll
  system is updated accordingly.

Key Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in payroll management.
• Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax deductions, statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, TDS, etc.), and HRMS tools.
• Experience in team handling and leadership.
• Proficiency in Excel, payroll software, and financial reporting.
