Futures First is seeking an experienced Equity Research Analyst to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon.

Job Profile

Research:

• Conduct deep-dive analysis to uncover opportunities for PnL such as but not limited to Statistical Arbitrage, Pairs Trading, News-Driven & Sector Rotation Strategies.
• Deep dive into components of various Global High Yield / Investment Grade Credit Indices and figure out PnL opportunities by using various related instruments like ETFs, Credit Index Futures etc.

Backtesting: Design and implement market strategies by conducting thorough backtesting and performance analysis to generate statistically relevant Alphas.

Automation Frameworks: Must have experience with setting up automated trading frameworks in Interactive Brokers (IB).

Market Insights: Continuously monitor and analyze markets and trends to ideate new alphas and iteratively enhance strategies.

Requirements

Education Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field from a Tier 1 college.

Work Experience

• Proven track record in Equity and Credit markets with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Skill Set

• Experience with Interactive Brokers in automation.
• Strong analytical mindset and a passion for financial markets.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced trading environment.
