Manager - Networking - Thane

Role & responsibilities :

1. Cloud Migration & Monitoring:

- Oversee cloud migration and express route monitoring.

- Manage DR sites with RTO and RPO agreements.

- Monitor network infrastructure for data centers, DR sites, and cloud operations.

2. SD-WAN Implementation:

- Implement SD-WAN and Optimizer for FG.

- Supervise the Systems & Network Management Team, providing guidance and acting as an escalation point for user issues.

3. Capacity Management:

- Manage resource utilization.

- Lead internal projects to enhance service.

- Coordinate with suppliers and service providers.

- Monitor and maintain network performance.

4. Network Upgrades & Access:

- Identify, install, and maintain network upgrades.

- Oversee user access to LAN/WAN/Cloud.

- Develop a backup/disaster recovery plan.

- Plan network infrastructure for new applications and services.

- Train network staff to support end users.

5. Decision Making & Documentation:

- Participate in purchasing and maintaining networking equipment.

- Develop and own team processes and procedures based on industry best practices.

- Maintain up-to-date documentation of departmental work processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate having bachelors degree in Computer Science
• 8 plus years of experience into network management
