Job Description.

Regular monitoring of DB servers and GG servers for assigned applications across environments (Dev, IVVT, PT and Production) for performance and take proactive actions wherever required..

Protecting the database against threats or unauthorized access..

Ensuring that the database is adequately backed up and able to be recovered in the event of memory loss..

Performance tuning of database systems..

Install, upgrade, and manage database applications..

Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors..

Reviewing the functional changes from DB performance perspective..

Setting up new DB servers as required, in liaison with SPOCs from other interfacing components..

Be available for on-call support as needed..

Regular communications with stakeholders for progress on assigned tasks..
