Job Description

Data Collection and Analysis:
- Gather and interpret data from various sources, including financial databases, APIs, and internal systems.
- Clean, validate, and transform raw data into a format suitable for analysis.
Financial Modelling:
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast trends and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Performance Reporting:
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop tailored reports.
Data Visualization:
- Create compelling visualisation, such as charts, graphs, and interactive dashboards, using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries.
- Communicate complex data insights effectively to stakeholders through visual presentations.
Ad Hoc Analysis:
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support business inquiries, product development, and marketing initiatives.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations based on data findings.
Data Quality and Integrity:
- Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions to maintain data integrity.
- Establish and enforce best practices for data management and documentation.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product Management, and Marketing, to support data-driven initiatives.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and IT professionals to optimise data pipelines and ensure data accessibility.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
Proven experience 2-4 Years , as a Data Analyst in the fintech industry or related field.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Solid understanding of financial concepts, including investment products, risk management, and financial modelling.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and effectively.
