Fullstack Developer (MERN)

Front End (Next.js/React)

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript, adhering to modern design systems.
• Collaborate with designers to translate Figma/Sketch mockups into pixel-perfect, performant components.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs (built on Node.js/TypeScript) for real-time data interactions.
• Work with backend teams to optimize API payloads and ensure seamless data flow from PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance and perform code reviews for a globally distributed team
• Work in an Agile delivery model

Skills

• Ability to work with backend teams using Node.js, GraphQL, and gRPC.

Backend (Node.js/TypeScript)

Key Responsibilities

Server-Side Development:

• Design and implement robust backend services using Node.js with TypeScript.
• Develop event-driven systems with NATS JetStream for real-time data streaming and messaging.
• Build and optimize REST, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs to support frontend and third-party integrations.

Database & Performance:

• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and optimize queries for low latency.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks using tools like Prometheus/Grafana.

Collaboration:

• Partner with frontend teams to integrate user-facing elements with server logic.
• Participate in Agile workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with an international, geographically distributed team
• Be able to interpret requirements, perform technical analysis, package work for other team members
• Conduct reviews including code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members

Skills

• backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Demonstrated expertise in NATS JetStream
• Proficiency in REST, gRPC, and GraphQL API design.
• Experience with relational and document databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience working with AWS and containerization (Terraform/Kubernetes).
