Senior Frontend Developer - React.js/Javascript (5-8 yrs)

Overview :

The Sr. Frontend Developer plays a critical role in shaping the user experience and visual aspects of the web applications developed by our team.

This position requires a strong command of frontend technologies and an eye for design, ensuring that all users have a seamless and highly functional experience. As a senior member of the development team, you will collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to create dynamic and engaging applications that meet our users' needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Develop and maintain web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks, primarily React.

- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, improving performance and efficiency.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peer developers.

- Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and troubleshoot compatibility issues.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development to maintain a competitive edge.

- Mentor junior developers and assist them in their professional growth.

- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making processes regarding technology and tools.

- Debug issues and solve technical problems effectively and efficiently.

- Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications for future reference.

- Work closely with backend developers to establish and maintain seamless data integration.

- Participate in user testing and feedback sessions to improve overall user experience.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in frontend development.

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of the DOM.

- Extensive experience with React and its ecosystem (Redux, React Router, etc.)

- Strong grasp of responsive design principles and frameworks (i.e., Bootstrap, Material UI).

- Experience in version control systems, particularly Git.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.

- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications.

- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.

- Understanding of UX principles and best practices.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Diverse portfolio demonstrating prior work and significant projects.
