Budgeting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Budgeting Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will design, implement, and manage a comprehensive budgeting framework for our global organization. You will collaborate with divisional heads, Departmental Heads and Leadership team to ensure seamless integration of budgeting processes across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting Framework Development

• Design and implement an organization-wide budgeting system tailored to meet the companys specific needs.

• Coordinate with Technical team and Develop templates, workflows, and automated processes for budget preparation, submission, and approval.

• Provide training and support to department heads and finance teams on budgeting processes and tools.

• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, standards, and regulatory requirements within the budgeting framework.

Collaboration with Stakeholders

• Work closely with Divisional / Departmental / Regional heads to gather and consolidate budgetary inputs that align with organizational goals.

• Partner with the Senior Leadership to integrate budgeting processes with operational and strategic objectives.

• Facilitate regular communication and updates on the budgeting process with senior management and stakeholders.

Process Optimization

• Continuously evaluate and refine financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in budget preparation and reporting.

• Automate repetitive and manual tasks within the budgeting cycle using available tools and technologies.

• Provide recommendations for system improvements to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

Reporting and Analysis

• Generate and maintain detailed financial reports and dashboards for real-time tracking of budget performance.

• Conduct variance analyses to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted figures and propose corrective actions.

• Support decision-making by delivering actionable insights based on budgetary data and trends.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: MBA Finance / Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.

• Experience:

  • At least 6 to 10 years of experience in budgeting, financial planning, or a related field along with Prior End to End Budget Implementation

  • Experience in a global, multi-division organization is highly desirable.

• Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and tools like Odoo used for budgeting and reporting.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI or equivalent tools for financial analysis and reporting.

  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools for reporting and analysis is advantageous.
