Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing tech team. With 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA, you will be responsible for leading testing efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software, and enhancing the overall user experience. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to drive quality initiatives and implement best practices in software testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute comprehensive test strategies across manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.

• Design and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools .

• Manage, prioritize, and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.

• Review product specifications, user stories, and requirements to develop effective test cases and ensure alignment with business needs.

• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, TestRail, or similar bug tracking systems; ensure timely resolution.

• Conduct end-to-end testing across various platforms and environments (e.g., web, mobile, cross-browser).

• Analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and provide recommendations to developers and product teams on improvements.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, product, and engineering) to ensure timely releases and proper test coverage.

• Perform load testing using tools, performance testing to ensure scalability and responsiveness under various load conditions.

• Report test results, risks, and quality status to key stakeholders in regular meetings and via test reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on both manual and automated testing.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.

• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).

• Hands-on experience with API testing.

• Deep knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful APIs) and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).

• Ability to write and maintain automated tests for both front-end and back-end systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team
