Senior Retail & Project Sales Lead - Furniture and Decor Store, HYD

Freedom Tree is a fast growing home decor and furniture brand. We believe in colorful and bold print design to create happy and designer homes. Over the last 15 years, Freedom Tree has grown from a small studio shop in Mumbai, to a pan-India retail brand with 6 stores and an online presence.

Retail and Project Sales Lead (Hyderabad)

A We're looking for someone to lead Business Development for Freedom Tree out of our recently established location in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Growing the brand in the market, managing and making our store a wonderful experience for customers and clients, and driving sales and profitability. You will be the face and voice of the brand in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy and Operations:
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the specified customer segments
• Guide store teams in achieving sales targets and profitable growth
• Attend to walkins, advise clients, and identify larger opportunities for sales
• Ensure store operational procedures and steps are being followed by store operations in-charge and junior staff
• Client Relationship Management:
• Identify, target, and build relationships with key architects, interior designers, and real estate developers to generate new business.
• Conduct regular face-to-face meetings, presentations, and site visits with key stakeholders to understand their needs, offer solutions, and provide excellent service.
• Cultivate long-term relationships and develop a strong network within the architecture, interior design, and real estate development sectors.
• Negotiation and Closing:
• Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of architects, interior designers, and real estate developers.
• Lead negotiations to close sales deals in alignment with company objectives.
• Sales Reporting and Administration:
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, client interactions, and project details using
• CRM software.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasting, and pipeline updates to management.
• Event Participation:
• Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and other networking events to promote the brand and generate leads.
• Conceptualize and coordinate events for target segments in the store and other platforms in the city
• Collaboration with Internal Teams:
• Work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment between client needs and company offerings.
• Collaborate with the operations and project management teams to ensure smooth delivery of products/services to clients.

Qualifications:
- We are looking at candidates from diverse backgrounds and fields

- We are looking for passion for home decor and interior design, and for what Freedom Tree does.

- Experience working with and managing teams is a must.

- Prior experience in leading store or brand operations is preferred but not required

- Training and experience in business operations, sales, marketing is also preferred, as is experience and qualifications in interior design, architecture and other design fields.

- We are also open to candidates from the fields of hospitality and related service categories
