LEAD SDET - Api Automation Tester | Gurgaon | 5+ Years

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead API Automation Tester to join our dynamic QA team. This role will require a deep understanding of API testing methodologies, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of API automation testers to ensure the quality of API services and backend systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
• Perform thorough testing of RESTful APIs and web services to ensure functional, regression, and load testing is covered.
• Create and maintain automated test cases for all levels of API testing, including unit, integration, and system tests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years focused on API automation.
• Strong experience with API testing tools such as RestAssured
• Experience with programming languages such as Java for test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
• Strong understanding of RESTful web services, HTTP methods, request/response formats (JSON, XML).
• Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
