Job Description

Overview: We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist with a strong background in the hospital or healthcare industry.

The ideal candidate will be adept at managing HR processes that support our clinical and administrative teams while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Process Management:
    • Oversee and streamline HR operations, ensuring efficient processes for recruitment, onboarding, employee life cycle, and offboarding.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and hospital requirements.
    • Manage HR-related compliance, including statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., labor laws, healthcare regulations).
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for employee queries and concerns.
    • Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and conflict resolution.
    • Organize employee engagement programs to promote a positive work environment and enhance staff morale.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and support recruitment efforts.
    • Ensure efficient recruitment processes, from job posting to interview and selection, maintaining a focus on the hospitals unique staffing needs.
    • Maintain an effective workforce planning system to meet the growing demands of the hospital.
  • Training & Development:
    • Coordinate and facilitate training programs for hospital staff to enhance skills and knowledge, particularly in healthcare-specific areas.
    • Identify and address skill gaps and propose relevant development programs for staff.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration:
    • Supervise payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary distribution, including bonuses and incentives.
    • Oversee employee benefits programs (healthcare plans, insurance, leave management, etc.) and ensure that employees are well-informed and supported.
  • HR Analytics & Reporting:
    • Collect and analyze HR metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, and employee satisfaction, to guide decision-making.
    • Provide regular HR reports to senior management and suggest actionable insights for improving operational efficiency.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, healthcare regulations, and hospital policies.
    • Maintain employee records in accordance with legal requirements and hospital confidentiality standards.
    • Manage employee contracts, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
    • Liaise with external vendors for HR services, such as background verification, training providers, and payroll vendors.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare associations, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders.
