Business Intelligence Engineer - Dashboard Design

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to join our growing data analytics team. In this role, you will play a critical part in empowering business stakeholders with clear and insightful data visualizations.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Looker Studio.

- Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data visualizations.

- Source, clean, and transform data from various sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Develop and maintain data models that optimize query performance and support complex data analysis.

- Implement best practices for data security and governance.

- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in BI tools and technologies.

- Participate in the creation and maintenance of data quality standards and processes.

- Document data models, reports, and development processes for future reference.

- Train and mentor business users on effectively utilizing BI dashboards and reports.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Engineer or related role.

- Proven expertise in creating interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Looker Studio (or similar tools).

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.

- Experience with SQL and proficiency in writing complex queries.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).

- Experience with data integration tools (e.g., ETL/ELT tools).

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
