• Preparation of pooled A,B and O cells.
• Compatibility testing and investigation of transfusion reaction.
• Blood Component preparation.
• Perform various screening tests for infection maker identification.
• Maintenance of equipment.
• Sterilization and decontamination procedure.
• Maintenance of stores and stocks.
• Maintenance of all donor records as per D & C rules.
• Daily quality control of reagents (antis era) and red cells
• Timely dispatch of reports.
