Forsys - Director - Oracle Module (15-18 yrs)

- The Director- Oracle, will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of Oracle-related projects and services.

- This role involves managing a team of Oracle professionals, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Leadership and Management:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Oracle professionals

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.

Strategy and Planning:

- Develop and execute the Oracle strategy aligned with business objectives.

- Collaborate with senior management to define and prioritize Oracle projects.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Technical Expertise:

- Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of Oracle solutions.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in Oracle configuration and customization.

- Stay updated on Oracle platform updates and industry trends.

Project Management:

- Manage development timelines, resources, and budgets.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

- Track and report on project progress and key performance indicators.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Work closely with business units to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.

- Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Quality Assurance:

- Implement robust testing and quality assurance processes.

- Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.

Service Delivery:

- Oversee the delivery of Oracle support, maintenance, and enhancement services.

- Ensure timely resolution of client issues and requests.

- Implement and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)

- Continuously improve managed services processes and methodologies.

- Implement best practices for incident management, problem management, and change management.

- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Overall 15+ years of experience, 10+ years of experience in Oracle deployments (Functional/technical/project management)

- At least one greenfield deployment experience

- 7+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.

- Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP, CRM, and cloud solutions- SCM and Finance modules preferred, multi-module experience strongly desired

- Proficiency in Oracle databases, applications, and middleware

- Experience with Oracle integration tools and techniques

- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of data migration and ETL processes.

- Experience in the Hi-tech, Healthcare & Pharma and Manufacturing sector
