Business Analyst

A Business Analyst having 10-12 years of Experience in the banking payments industry is responsible for analyzing and translating business needs related to payment processing systems into detailed requirements for technical development teams, ensuring seamless integration with existing banking infrastructure while adhering to industry regulations, by gathering data, identifying pain points, and proposing solutions to optimize payment processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency within a bank or financial institution; often collaborating closely with stakeholders across departments like product management, operations, and technology to deliver effective payment solutions.

3 Months of Onsite ( Abroad ) and then work from home or office in India. Immediate Joiners will be given preference.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth analysis of current payment processes, identifying areas for improvement, gathering user feedback, and documenting detailed business requirements for new payment features or system upgrades.

Create process flow diagrams to visualize current payment workflows, identify bottlenecks, and design optimized future processes.

Analyze transaction data to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks related to payment processing, including fraud detection and chargeback management.

Collaborate with technical teams to develop functional specifications, user stories, and system architecture for new payment solutions, considering integration with existing banking systems.

Participate in project planning, tracking progress, managing timelines, and ensuring successful implementation of payment system upgrades or new initiatives.

Stay updated on relevant payment regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance with security and fraud prevention measures.

Effectively communicate project goals, updates, and challenges to key stakeholders including product owners, developers, and senior management.

 

Required Skills:

Thorough knowledge of various payment methods like ACH, wire transfers, credit cards, digital wallets, real-time payments, and relevant industry standards (SWIFT, SEPA).

Familiarity with core banking systems, account management, and banking operations.

Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data to identify insights and inform decision-making.

Proficiency in eliciting, documenting, and managing business requirements through techniques like use cases, process modeling, and user stories.

Basic understanding of software development methodologies, database concepts, and system integration. Dot Net framework Knowledge will be preferred

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end-users.
