Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Manager with a strong background in the Finance domain to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of financial reporting, data analysis, and business intelligence, combined with expertise in Power BI development and team leadership. As the Power BI Manager, you will oversee the creation and deployment of Power BI solutions that provide actionable insights, support data-driven decision-making, and improve financial reporting across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of Power BI developers and analysts with a focus on finance-related reporting and analytics.

- Provide mentorship, training, and career development opportunities to team members.

- Set clear goals, monitor team performance, and ensure that deliverables are completed on time and within scope.

- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices in Power BI development and financial reporting.

- Oversee the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports tailored for the finance department.

- Build advanced Power BI reports to track key financial metrics such as revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and budgeting.

- Ensure that Power BI solutions align with the organization's overall business goals and are scalable for future growth.

- Manage the integration of diverse financial data sources (ERP systems, general ledgers, Excel, etc.) into Power BI to create cohesive financial reporting.

- Develop data models and transform complex financial data into easy-to-understand visualizations and insights.

- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely updates for all financial reports and dashboards.

- Collaborate with finance and sales teams to gather requirements and understand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

- Engage directly with finance leadership, business partners, and key stakeholders to understand financial reporting needs and translate them into actionable data models and visualizations.

- Provide strategic advice on how to improve financial reporting processes, identify trends, and derive meaningful insights from financial data.

- Establish and enforce data governance practices to ensure the accuracy, security, and compliance of all financial data and reporting.

- Ensure financial reports and dashboards meet regulatory requirements and adhere to internal controls.

- Drive automation in financial reporting by implementing best practices, reducing manual processes, and ensuring that reports are updated in real time.

- Develop and implement advanced financial models using Power BI's DAX, Power Query, and other related tools to support in-depth financial analysis.

Qualifications & Skills :

- At least 5+ years of experience in Power BI development and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of finance concepts such as P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budgeting.

- A minimum of 2 years in a managerial role or leadership position in a Power BI or business intelligence team.

- Experience working with finance teams, understanding financial metrics, and translating business requirements into actionable data visualizations.

- Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, Power BI Service, Power BI Report Server, and Power BI Desktop.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Data Science (preferred).

- Professional certifications in finance (e.g., CPA, CFA) and business intelligence (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Data Analyst Associate) are a plus.
