Account Assistant

Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Accounts Executive with expertise in GST, TDS, and accounting software (Tally). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various accounting tasks, including journal entries, purchase entries, bank reconciliation, voucher entries, and journal vouchers. This position requires excellent analytical skills, an eye for detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• GST & TDS Compliance:
  
• Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring compliance with the latest tax regulations.
• Calculate, file, and reconcile TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) for the organization.
• Maintain accurate records of GST and TDS-related transactions.
• Accounting & Bookkeeping:
  
• Process journal entries and ensure they are accurately recorded in the companys financial statements.
• Handle purchase entries and ensure accurate tracking of vendor accounts and invoices.
• Prepare and maintain all accounting records related to day-to-day financial operations.
• Bank Reconciliation:
  
• Perform regular bank reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accurately reflected in the financial system.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between the bank statement and accounting records.
• Voucher Entry & Journal Voucher Management:
  
• Ensure timely and accurate entry of all accounting vouchers into Tally.
• Review and record journal vouchers and ensure proper documentation for auditing purposes.
• Reconciliation & Reporting:
  
• Conduct reconciliations of various accounts and prepare financial reports as required by management.
• Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing reports.
• General Accounting Support:
  
• Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
• Provide support during audits and respond to auditors' queries.
