PHP developers may use code repositories such as Git or SVN to maintain code and collaborate with other developers

They must be able to manage code branches and merge code effectively to ensure that projects are developed efficiently and effectively



PHP developers must be able to write technical documentation to help other developers understand how to use and maintain applications

They may write documentation on code structure, APIs, or database schema
