Fluxon - Staff Software Engineer - System Architecture (8-15 yrs)

About the role :

As a Staff Software Engineer at Fluxon, you'll drive the end-to-end delivery of products to market while learning, contributing, and growing in partnership with our leadership team

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead technical projects from concept to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client needs and business objectives.

- Partner with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.

- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define product requirements, system designs, and development plans.

- Support the growth and development of a healthy, collaborative, and effective engineering culture.

- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, helping them grow in their technical abilities and career development.

- Work with a diverse set of technologies, ensuring scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.

- Design and implement system architectures that are aligned with the product requirements, ensuring scalability and performance.

- Lead technical discussions and decision-making with internal stakeholders and clients.

- Ensure seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Engineering.

- Help identify and resolve challenges during project development and deployment.

Qualifications :

- Industry experience in software development, with hands-on experience in leading complex projects from inception to deployment.

- Expertise in designing and implementing scalable system architectures, data structures, algorithms, and best practices for software development.

- Strong knowledge of modern programming languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, Python, Golang, and others, along with experience in frameworks like Next.js, React, Angular, Spring, and others.

- Experience working with cloud services (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Microsoft Azure) and cloud technologies (Compute Engine, Fargate, S3, etc.

- Strong understanding of databases like PostgreSQL, Firestore, MariaDB, BigQuery, Redis, and Memcache.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
