Business Analyst (Software & Utility Domain)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Develop functional specifications, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to improve business processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to define project scope and objectives.
• Analyze utility industry trends and regulatory requirements to align solutions with business needs.
• Perform data analysis and generate reports to support decision-making.
• Ensure seamless communication between business and technical teams.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in the deployment of solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software and utility domains.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience working with utility management systems, billing, or regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and business intelligence software.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
