Job Description
- Design and build applications for the Android platform
- Work closely with the Product, UX/UI and Backend teams to design, build and extend consumer and/or partner facing new products, platforms and features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Collaborate with QA on continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) as well as for automated and manual testing
- Evaluate new mobile methodologies and technologies.
- B.E., B.Tech., M.C.A. or equivalent technical qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Past experience in designing and developing advanced Android Applications.
- Up-to-date on the modern Android paradigm and experienced with using react native.
- Experience in API design, SDK architecture, and mobile software lifecycle development practices.
- Strong UX/UI design exposure and experience in making apps work intuitively and with pixel perfect interfaces.
- Experience in React Native.
- Hands on experience in Android application development
- Must have experience in Java, Kotlin, MVP, MVVM architecture
- Utilize various DRM systems, obfuscation and encryption to protect user information and content.
- Experience working with remote data using REST and JSON, and third-party libraries and APIs.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement newer Android trends to maximize development efficiency.
- Knowledge of working with dev tools like git, Jira, confluence, stash, etc.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills, team player, good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Some knowledge on iOS development would be an added advantage.
