Vmware Administrator

• Responsible of IT Operations on server infrastructure, virtualization platform globally in Harman
• Administration of HPE Oneview and Dell OpenManager for monitoring and hardware maintenance
• Administration of VMware vSphere, vSAN, VMware vRealize suite including vRealize Operations Manager, vRealize Log Insight, vRealize Orchestrator and True Visibility suite for vRealize Operations Manager
• Responsible for Hypercoveraged infrastructure solutions in Harman (e.g VxRail, Nutanix and Hyperflex)
• Responsible for administrating disaster recovery solution for virtual machines, ensure existing DR solution Zerto running fine 24x7 and engage with Zerto support to fix issues.
• Responsible for daily operations on server infrastructure and server storage infrastructure available in all sites and cloud related.
• Responsible for resource planning and management on on-premise virtualization platforms in Harman, ensure necessary availability of hardware resources for regular growth.
• Perform proof of concept for new solutions to improve productivity of IT infrastructure related to virtualization, cloud and automation.
• Work with vendors for issues, projects and quotations.
• Documentation of Standard of Process, POC and operations.
• Anticipant weekend shift for 24x7 operation supports on backup domain and storage domain.
• Anticipant change management meeting, incident meeting and troubleshoot with internal and external support teams.
• Work with IT compliance team for IT compliance activities and audit on the domains the team is responsible for
• Work with other IT teams and business for projects, service requests and implementation of new solutions.
• Ability to visualize project impact, understand the effects on IT and the business, and the changes that may be required.Role & responsibilities
