Manual Testing

QA Engineer shall be responsible for understanding the nature of the domain and the business requirement; information required to write test plans and test cases. This Role needs to create, maintain and execute automated test scripts; Analyzing automation execution results; Performing lifecycle testing and identifying system breakage points (investigative, production readiness etc.). Develop & execute test cases in alignment to test strategy

Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing and testing of software features as part of a collaborative team.
This role is responsible for creating test plans and strategy, test cases in partnership with developers, business analysts and project managers which are used to check conformance to system requirements. Experience
3 - 5 Years of experience as a Quality Analyst
Strong knowledge of Agile methodology, software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
Ability to understand requirement documents, write test scenarios and test cases for manual testing.
Ability to write unit and integration test cases.
Understanding of testing framework.
Continually adapt existing test scripts to accommodate the changing product and technology landscape.
Participate in Agile activities, sprint planning and code reviews.
Experienced on API testing using tools like Thunder Client, Postman.
Ability to write API test scripts using tools like Rest Sharp.
Experience in Bug tracking and reporting. Preferred Skills
Excellent inter-personal skills and teamwork
Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
Knowledge in API Testing
Any testing certification will be advantage

 

Educational Qualification and Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of formal education - Graduate / Post Graduate in Computer Science / Information Technology.
