Key Responsibilies and Outcomes :

• Prepare Initial Design within stipulated time frame.
• Produce all proposals and initial system designs for sales department.
• Prepare and simulate conceptual initial system designs and shade reports using Aurora or other Solar softwares as per site conditions and environmental assessment in accordance with county and utility requirements, including the selection of major components and equipment layouts.
• Assist sales teams with strategic support and proposal development.
• Ensure efficient solar design using required software's, conduct quality assurance and reviews, and perform cost estimations.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of photovoltaic system design and optimizing system components for energy production.
• Basic understanding of drafting principles.
• Professional and efficient English verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and effective organization.
• Skill in reading, interpreting by referring related documents and drawings prepared by others.

Qualifications: Education, Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Behaviour) and Experience:

Minimum Education Qualifications

B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma in Engineering of Mechanical/Electrical/Civil

Competencies

• Essential familiarity with Solar Design specific to the US region.
• Capability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
• A strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to photovoltaic systems is crucial including knowledge of codes such as CFC and IFC codes and standards according to AHJs of different states.
• Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience

• 0.5 1-year direct work experience in US Solar Design process.
