Quality Assurance Automation Tester

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Automation Tester with a strong background in Node.js to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our web applications and microservices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Node.js-based testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Chai, Jasmine).
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product functionality, and design comprehensive test strategies.
• Perform automated regression testing, and report bugs and defects with detailed analysis.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality of test scripts and adherence to industry standards.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for test cases, scripts, and processes. ● Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation testing and Node.js.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and experience with testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, Jasmine, or Jest.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and libraries (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with branching strategies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests within them.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and experience in testing them using tools like Postman.
• Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and the role of testing within them.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
