Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer with 4-5 years of experience to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and architectures. The ideal candidate will be Azure Synapse-certified and proficient in SQL, Databricks, and Python.
Role & responsibilities
- Develop and manage scalable ETL pipelines using Databricks and Azure Synapse
- Build and optimize data models and architectures for analytics and reporting
- Write efficient SQL queries and scripts for data transformation and integration
- Ensure data quality, security, and governance compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business insights
Preferred candidate profile
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Databricks.
- Strong understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and cloud-based ecosystems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Synapse, Apache Spark, PySpark, and DevOps for CI/CD
- Experience with visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
