Manager Global - Accounting

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the global accounting operations, including month-end and year-end closing, consolidation, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Lead and coordinate audits, ensuring timely completion and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Support tax compliance and reporting for international entities, including transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.
• Implement and enhance accounting systems, processes, and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Work closely with finance teams across different regions to ensure consistency in accounting policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to accounting staff and regional finance teams.
• Effectively handle and lead a team, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of accounting tasks.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing global operations.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory accounting principles.
• Experience in multinational corporations or global accounting firms.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, consolidations, and compliance.
• Proficiency in multiple accounting software solutions such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work across cultures and geographies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
