Associate Manager-Software

Position Overview:

As an Associate Manager, Software Engineering, you will be responsible for delivering the technology strategy for Ensemble software delivery teams under the guidance of engineering leadership. Your focus will be to deliver, guide on developing reusable software components, patterns, and tools through a team. Your contributions will be crucial in achieving our long-term strategic goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing design: Conceptualizing and delivering product designs and sustenance delivery through a team.
• Refining requirement specifications: Refining requirement specifications and delivering solutions to the organization.
• Reviewing deliverables: Reviewing architecture and design deliverables.
• Supporting as a subject matter expert: Supporting as a subject matter expert and handling and monitoring the testing team.
• Training and developing: Training and developing a team to ensure an adequate supply of trained manpower.
• Manage the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications using C#, .NET Core, and REST API technologies.
• Deploy applications to the Azure cloud platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Oversee the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices to streamline software delivery processes through a team.
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions to enhance application performance and code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse user needs, and propose solutions.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Software Development Leader, with a strong focus on C#, MVC and .NET Core development.
• Proficiency in Rest API design and development, including authentication and data serialization.
• Understanding and hands-on experience with LINQ/Entity Framework for data access and manipulation.
• Familiarity with Azure services, such as App Service, Functions, Storage, and SQL Database.
• of CI/CD practices, including tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Knowledge in JavaScript, React, and related front-end frameworks.
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Test Automation will be preferred.
