What you will be doing:

• Provide support of IBM i 3rd Party Apps
• Operate AS400 computer system, peripheral equipment, and PC Servers
• Primarily responsible for the operations and administration of IBM i servers and multiple LPARs, including message handling, command line utilities, work management, job and print control, device management, system configuration, system security, backup and restore operations, file transfer and PTF management.
• Develop, document and maintain procedures for system utilities/Tools such as Laser Vault, MIMIX, MPLUS, IBMi QUERY, BRMS (backup/restore), performance tuning and configuration of environments as required

What you bring:

• 4+years experience in IBM i system Operations, administration and troubleshooting..
• Ability to write a Query/400 program to display a file also print a file
• Understand how to see relationships between physical and logical files
• Ability to work on FTP parameters
• Create a physical file with and without key fields
• Working knowledge of CL programing and RPG programming languages (will be helpful)
• Knowledge of IBM i TCP/IP networking, access and security guidelines and procedures
• Understanding of incident and change management processes

Education Requirements:

Bachelor s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
