Job Description

About UI Designer As a UI Designer, you weave product user experiences into stimulating and engaging visual interactions. You are a pixel perfectionist who focuses on taking on complex tasks and making them intuitive and easy to use. Throughout the design process - from creating user flows and wireframes to building user interface mockups and prototypes, you ll envision how people experience the ffreedom app, and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired and refined. You are being hired to design something specific, but that something may change in a few months. You are someone who is comfortable with change and can quickly transition between tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.

2. Manage timelines and adhere to agile processes to continually deliver lo-fi to hi-fi wireframes.

3. Conduct design demos and seek criticism, suggestions, and ideas from design and cross-functional teams.

4. Be an advocate for improving the design process and design language.

5. Document critical design decisions and component specifications as user stories for the development and QA teams.

6. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions

Experience/Qualifications:

1. Mandatory to have a strong design portfolio that showcases your work and design skills. Your portfolio stands out if you have made the effort to highlight case studies that clearly articulate the problem, solution, and design process. Include visuals and explanations where relevant. Showcase your thought process behind the designs in your portfolio.

2. Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

3. Minimum 4 years of experience in user interface design.

4. Strong foundational skills in Android Material design and iOS Human-centered design principles.

5. Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features within a user-centered design process.
