The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations, sales performance, and staff management of multiple retail stores within a designated geographical area/stores. They ensure that each store meets company standards, achieves sales targets, and provides a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Store Operations Management:

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all assigned stores, maintaining visual merchandising standards and operational compliance.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

Set and achieve sales targets for the area; drive initiatives to boost store performance and profitability.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and mentor store managers and their teams; ensure strong team engagement, motivation, and performance management.

Customer Experience:

Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service across all stores; handle escalated customer issues when required.

Business Analysis:

Regularly analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement.

Inventory & Stock Management:

Oversee stock levels, minimize shrinkage, and ensure timely replenishment of merchandise.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and brand guidelines. Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
• 58 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 2–3 years in a multi-store management role
• Experience in Retail, QSR, Quick Commerce

Additional Requirements:

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Familiarity with retail management software (POS systems, ERP tools)
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours if needed
