Senior ServiceNow Developer (1 Position) ( FI2075 )

Fastenal India is looking for highly motivated individual who will play a key role as Sr. Servicenow Developer in our Team at Bangalore Location. This individual will be involved in the implementation of new modules/customizations of the existing ones in the ServiceNow ecosystem. There may be short term and / or long-term travel requirements to the US.

Role Description

• Applies innovative technical solutions to business and the application processes
• Defines and documents procedures for processes and workflows
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader
• Responsible for troubleshooting problems as reported by users
• Communicates effectively with management and other members of the project
• Additional duties as assigned and defined by management
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule
• Contribute to Design Review and Code Review
• Provide proactive advice and feedback throughout the development lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality problem

Candidate Description

Desired Skills (Mandatory):

• Design and implement new functionality using Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Access Lists, Workflow Activities, Script Includes etc.
• Expertise in Service Catalog and Request Workflow Design and Configuration.
• Good knowledge on the ServiceNow basic applications like Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, CMDB
• Experience in JavaScript, glide scripting, Angular JS, HTML, Ajax, CSS.
• Use of Mid server, web-services, REST services configurations, schedulers, email, events and notifications.
• Knowledge of technical components such as ServiceNow LDAP, SSO, Search, Reports, Users and Groups configuration.
• Experience developing on SaaS (Software as a Service) based tools (ServiceNow), with focus on implementing ITIL processes
  
  
  Preferred Skills (good to have):
• Implementation experience of CMDB, ServiceNow Discovery Service Mapping
• Experience with release/version upgrades including scheduling cloning and migration of data from instances with ServiceNow
• Integration of disparate systems using SOAP and REST APIs
• Configuration experience in following modules on dedicated as well as shared instances
• (IM, CM, PM, SRM, KM, Release Management, Event Management, Configuration Management and Asset Management)
• High level of expertise in multiple system environments
• Works effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related preferred
• 5-8 years of IT Industry Experience 3-4 yrs(Minimum) of ServiceNow Exp.
