Overview
The Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in driving sales revenue and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective product knowledge and exceptional customer service. They are responsible for building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
Key Responsibilities - Understand and promote the features and benefits of products/services
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities through leads and referrals
- Provide personalized and attentive service to customers
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends
- Develop and implement sales strategies
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Prepare and present sales proposals
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve collective targets
- Participate in sales and marketing events
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Utilize CRM systems to manage customer interactions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes
- Keep accurate records of sales and customer interactions
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience in sales or customer service role
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities
- Deep understanding of sales techniques and methodologies
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
