Overview
The Sales Associate plays a vital role in connecting our products with customers and generating sales for the organization. Based in Mumbai, this position is not only a frontline representative of our brand but serves as the pivotal link between customer needs and the company s offerings. This role is critical in fostering a positive shopping experience and cultivating loyalty among our customer base, thereby directly influencing the company s revenue and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall store performance metrics.
- Conducting cold calls.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of the products and services to promote effectively.
- Process transactions accurately using the point of sale system.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and organization.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Execute visual merchandising strategies to enhance product displays and store aesthetics.
- Participate in training and development activities to hone sales techniques.
- Support management in achieving operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or business is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications, particularly point of sale software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Positive attitude with a passion for retail and customer interaction.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Knowledge of customer care principles and practices.
- Proficiency in local language and good command of English.
- References from previous employers in relevant roles.
- A strong network within the local customer base is an advantage.
